Romy Nardi

The artist who turns living room into an art experience

Painter and owner of B&B La Corte

Born in Sant’Antimo, Romy Nardi is an artist who has been able to transform her family’s historic palazzo into a place where art and hospitality come together in a unique experience.

His atelier, located on the palace’s main floors, is the beating heart of this residence where each guest becomes part of an authentic and refined artistic environment.

Training and First Steps

Graduating with merit from the Liceo Artistico in Aversa in 1980, Romy moved to Rome to further her studies at Silvio Bicchi’s “School of Painting” and attended a course for interior designers. In 1983 he worked as a gemstone engraver at the prestigious Bulgari Workshop.

The Artistic Revival

In the late 1990s, Romy reconnected with the art world by attending from 1999 to 2004 the “Free School of Nude” at the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples, directed by Roberto Donatelli and Ernesto Pugliese. From then on, his artistic career recorded a continuous ascent.

International Acknowledgements

His works have reached international galleries: from HYPE Gallery in Amsterdam, which permanently acquired “Horror Perpetual” in 2005, to Café Moskau in Berlin in 2006. The PAN Documentation Center in Naples preserves his work “Catastrophe,” and the Tarot Museum in Bologna permanently displays his reinterpretation of “The Queen.”

"The guest with us is welcomed as an old acquaintance and family friend who comes from afar and not just as a customer."

Art and Hospitality

Romy’s philosophy is to view guests as anti-conventional tourists, eager to leave organized tours behind and discover the authenticity of Neapolitan culture. In the carefully restored palace embellished with its works of art, each stay becomes an immersion in contemporary art that dialogues harmoniously with the centuries-old history of the mansion.
